Super Studio’s
Superuse Studios is een in Rotterdam (NL) gevestigd architectenbureau. Kenmerkend voor haar manier van werken is dat hun ontwerpen gebaseerd zijn op het potentieel van de context waarvoor het werk gemaakt wordt. Een ontwerp wordt niet beschouwd als het begin van een lineair proces maar ls een fase in een continue cyclus van creatie en recreatie, gebruik en hergebruik.

Deze voormalige kast en het zit-object van de schoenenzaak Duchi zijn in 2015 als tentoonstellingsstuk bij de Verbeke Foundation geïnstalleerd. De kast is opgebouwd uit oude Audi autoruiten, en het zit-object is gemaakt van sloophout. In het midden heeft een loopband van de kassa van een supermarkt een nieuw doel gekregen: het is een testband voor schoenen geworden.

Superuse Studios is a Rotterdam based architecture office of Cesare Peeren, Willem Coenen, Bart Lentze and Mel Feldmuller. They utilize the contextual potential for design. A design is not considered as the beginning of a linear process but as a phase in a continuous cycle of creation and recreation, use and reuse.

The former Duchi shoe shop shelves and seating object are installed as exhibition piece. The shelves are made of Audi car windscreens, and the seating object is made of waste wood. In the middle you find a re-purposed supermarket counter conveyer belt on which shoe buying customers could test walk their shoes.
