On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Belgian artist Mark Verstockt, in 2011 the Verbeke Foundation organized a unique retrospective of his visual work. Verstockt became known to the general public due to his monumental works in public space. His plastic ingenuity, however, went further than this public procurement. After all, for more than fifty years he developed a considerable abstract geometric oeuvre.
The exhibition gave an overview of Verstockts activity as an artist, designer, designer and writer.
