‘Non-lieux’ (niet-plaatsen) zijn plaatsen die je overal kunt tegenkomen. Ze verwijzen naar de uniformiteit in vormgeving, die je in grote steden tegenkomt.
Langs de installatie met de woorden ‘Nulle-part’ (nergens) en ‘Partout’ (overal) betreedt je de Verbeke Foundation. Het werk bestaat uit twee tegenover elkaar geplaatste lichtbakken die zijn vormgegeven volgens bepaalde universele standaards. Eronder is aan beide zijden een bankje geplaatst. De gang wordt een overgangsruimte zonder specifiek karakter (nulle-part), die echter tegelijk ook in elke stad aanwezig kan zijn (partout).

‘Non-lieux’ (non-places) are places that you may encounter everywhere. They refer to the uniformity in design, that you encounter in big cities.
Along the installation with the words ‘ Nulle-part’ (nowhere) and ‘Partout’ (anywhere) you enter the Verbeke Foundation. The work consists of two opposite light boxes that are designed according to certain universal standards. Underneath on both sides you find a bench you can sit on. The corridor is a transitional space without a specific character (nulle-part), which, however, at the same time in each city may be present (partout).
