Verbeke Foundation PS en Arts and Events BVBA wijst iedere bezoeker van de Verbeke Foundation er op dat er risico’s verbonden zijn aan het bezoek welke kunnen leiden tot schade en ernstig persoonlijk letsel als men niet zeer goed oplet, struikelt, te dicht bij de installaties of objecten komt, zichzelf of anderen afleidt of onder enige invloed is van welke legale of illegale substantie.
De Verbeke Foundation is gevestigd in oude opslaggebouwen en kassen en een omringende tuin. Op sommige overdekte plekken is er weinig verlichting en is de vloer oneffen en kan nat zijn. De paden in de tuin bestaan uit zand bedekt met een laag losliggende leistenen, er kunnen oneffenheden in de paden zitten. Elke bezoeker moet dus zowel binnen als buiten extra oppassen waar men gaat en staat. Sommige van de getoonde kunstwerken kunnen instabiel zijn, hebben scherpe kanten of hebben mechanieken die ernstig letsel kunnen veroorzaken indien men geen gepaste afstand houdt of ze aanraakt. Let op kinderen die deze gevaren mogelijkerwijs niet beseffen.
Door het accepteren van het toegangsbewijs of het betreden van de Verbeke Foundation, accepteert iedere bezoeker deze risico’s en bevestigt hij of zij afstand te doen van het recht tot het aansprakelijk stellen van de kunstenaars die daar tentoonstellen, van de Verbeke Foundation PS, Arts en Events BVBA en medewerkers, vrijwilligers of bestuurders. Ieder van bovengenoemde personen of organisaties houdt zich het recht voor om schade te verhalen op bezoekers die struikelen of zich bezeren omdat men niet uitkijkt of te dicht bij de kunstwerken, objecten en installaties komt of zichzelf of anderen afleidt of onder enige invloed is van legale of illegale middelen.

Liability exclusion

Verbeke Foundation PS and Arts and Events BVBA hereby inform every visitor of the Verbeke Foundation that there are risks associated with the visit that may result in damage and serious personal injury if one does not pay close attention, trips, gets too close to the installations or objects, distracts oneself or others, or is under the influence of any legal or illegal substance.
The Verbeke Foundation is located in old storage buildings and greenhouses and a surrounding garden. In some covered areas, there is little lighting, and the floor is uneven and may be wet. The paths in the garden consist of sand covered with a layer of loose slate stones, and there may be irregularities in the paths. Therefore, every visitor must be extra careful both indoors and outdoors. Some of the displayed artworks may be unstable, have sharp edges, or have mechanisms that can cause serious injury if one does not maintain a proper distance or touches them. Pay attention to children who may not realize these dangers.
By accepting the admission ticket or entering the Verbeke Foundation, every visitor accepts these risks and confirms to waive the right to hold the artists exhibiting there, the Verbeke Foundation PS, Arts and Events BVBA, and employees, volunteers, or directors liable. Each of the aforementioned individuals or organizations reserves the right to claim damages from visitors who trip or injure themselves because they are not careful or get too close to the artworks, objects, and installations or distract themselves or others or are under the influence of legal or illegal substances.
