COLLAGE MAKING WORKSHOP
In a collage making workshop (derived from ‘coller’, pasting) you cut, tear and paste. So you work with existing photographic material, paper, cardboard, possibly supplemented with other materials that you will stick in a new composition, so that you can give it your own meaning.
The Verbeke Foundation has been collecting collages and assemblages for more than 30 years and has more than 6000 works in its collection. At the moment, collage is experiencing a revival among young artists. In the workshop you can work individually or with the group towards an end result.
If you wish, you can specify a theme yourself.
A collage making workshop costs 95€ per group of up to 20 people and lasts 2 hours.
